About Us
The National Organization for People with Disabilities upholds and preserves the right and dignity of disabled people. It aims to improve the quality of life through local, national and international efforts by discussing disability issues and promoting awareness campaigns, evaluate and develop public health programmes and community-based initiatives that preserve health and promote rehabilitation and constructs assistive devices available to them. The site hopes to be a haven for people with disabilities, their families, educators and employers as well members of the medical team being connected to various resources from several agencies, educational societies and non-profit organizations discussing about benefits, civil rights, employment, transportation, technology, community life and emergency preparedness. This site is a community where exchange of ideas flow as well as thoughts and feelings are shared, with insights coming from disabled people from all walks of life.
